If your schedule does not allow you to come into the warehouse to volunteer, but you still want to have a direct impact on the families Sharing Connections serves, take a look at our service projects! These are also ideal volunteer projects for younger kids. Simply decide which project your group will do, collect the items for the project, assemble the items as described below and deliver them to Sharing Connections. Your group can even tour of the warehouse when your group drops off their project.

Fleece Blankets
Lay two pieces of fleece fabric, 45" by 60" on top of each other. Cut fringe 1” wide by 4” deep on all four edges of both fabrics. Tie each fringe piece of the top fabric with the fringe piece on the bottom fabric. You should end up with one fringed, double weight fleece blanket that can be given to an expectant mother or newborn baby.
Scarves & Hats (Winter)
