What furniture items qualify for pickup?
In order for us to help ensure that our truck crew can make the most of the limited truck space and enable us to provide the most needed items for our client families, we have created a "Pick Up Qualifying Standards" list to help you decide if your donation qualifies for our volunteer run pickup.

Items that qualify for pickup:

  • Sofa/Loveseat: Must be 10 years or newer and the slip cover must be removed prior to pickup. No stains or visible wear and tear.
  • Tables with or without chairs
  • Dressers
  • Cribs: must pass the pop can test (where a pop can cannot pass through the side bars, must have all pieces, and must not have any chipped paint or flaking wood)
  • Beds (mattress/box): Twin, Queen and Full.  Must have mattress to qualify for pickup.
  • Refrigerators: No older then 10 years old, must be 100% operational and must be thoroughly cleaned inside and out.
  • Gas/Electric Stove: No older then 10 years old, must be 100% operational and must be thoroughly cleaned inside and out - NO RUST.
  • Washer/Dryer: No older then 7 years, must be 100% operational and must be thoroughly cleaned inside and out - NO RUST.

Items accepted ONLY if one or more items above are part of pickup:

  • TV: Nothing older then 10 years or larger then 36”, must be cable ready with audio/video input/outputs
  • Lamps
  • Coffee tables and end tables
  • VCR/DVD players
  • Baby equipment: changing tables, swings, strollers, car seats, etc.
  • Entertainment centers
  • Living room chairs/recliners
  • LIMITED TO ONE bag of clothing
  • LIMITED TO ONE box of household items
  • China cabinet: must be under 10 years old

Items we DO NOT ACCEPT via truck pickup under any conditions:

  • No glass kitchen or dining tables
  • No wicker furniture: tables, chairs, etc.
  • No curio cabinets
  • No KING mattress/box sets
  • No XL boxes without mattresses
For pickup, please understand that the truck is reserved for furniture items and that additional clothing donations should be dropped off at our warehouse location.
