Quickly
following on the heals
of the new agency site
and online wish list
submission form that
was launched August
1st of 2007, Sharing
Connections is preparing
for a Mid-October 2007
launch of the new Wish
List Tracking System,
specifically for use
by referring agencies.
The
new system was created
to help referring agents
track the progress of
their client’s
wish list more efficiently
and with less phone
time. The new tool will
also aid our program
staff in allowing for
a smaller build-up of
voicemail messages and
more interaction online
– with the added
extra of having all
pertinent information
at their fingertips.
Not created to eliminate
or replace phone or
face to face interaction,
but to give our referring
agencies the option
for instant information
when they need it the
most.
“It
could easily take more
then one business day
to pull their [referring
agent] voicemails and
return their messages
[due to the amount of
calls] and it will now
be accessed instantly
by the referring agents
that need it. It’s
a win/win tool for all
of us," said a
program volunteer.
The
new online tool will be
restricted to approved
users only, but will allow
them to do everything
from track the status
of a client’s wish
list, get instant communication
updates for each wish
list by the program staff,
and even add updates themselves.
In addition, with the
launch of the online demo
site, training tools are
already in place to make
it easy and convenient
for agency representatives
to get started. |
